The assessment team includes two professionals each from The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), The Humane Society of the United States, The United Animal Nations (UAN), The Best Friends Animal Society, The American Humane Association, and US Public Health Services.
Beginning Tuesday, November 15, teams of two were be deployed to different sections of the city where they would collect detailed data for two days and nights. The information so collected will then be analyzed and used for putting together a set of operations that meets the needs of the animals and citizens in the New Orleans community.
